C&G 2377 - IN-SERVICE INSPECTION & TESTING OF ELECTRICAL EQUIPMENT

his short course was designed around the IEE Code of Practice for In-Service Inspection & Testing of Electrical Equipment. The course covers the legislative and procedural requirements associated with equipment maintenance and with the technical approach to the testing itself.

The programme is of 6 hours duration, in which time the candidate will study all aspects of the Code of Practice and undertake a final City & Guilds assessment, in the form of a one hour, multiple choice paper comprising 30 questions.

Depending on demand, the course can be delivered to suit individual or company requirements, but is usually conducted over one day, the assessment being at the end of the day.

Candidates will require their own copy of the IEE Code of Practice for use during the assessment. Copies are available to order via our text book page.
