provides an understanding of basic design
criteria and calculations, along with
current inspection and testing requirements
in electrical installation, and is written
specifically for the City & Guilds 2400
vocational award. The new edition is updated
throughout to match the 2004 version of BS
7671:2001 (incorporating Amendments 1:2002 &
2:2004), and also features extended coverage
of Special Locations (such as bathrooms,
construction sites and computer/data type
installations).
There are common
misconceptions in the application of the
Wiring Regulations in these areas with
regard to bonding, voltages, disconnection
times and sizes of earthing conductors.
